I want to do the roof during the Easter holidays. If I'm going for Kawasaki green, what colour primer do you think is best; white or grey?

Im not expert,but I think white as your going for a bright top coat.

If anything black shows up the dirt, my black one looks dirty about 5 minutes after washing it.
Silver is best for hiding road dirt, but mud shows up on just about every colour except mud brown.

The one area I have deliberately omitted on this thread is security - for obvious reasons. Needless to say that there are multiple systems befitting a car that has had a small fortune on it. If it ever did get stolen, like you say, it would be easy to spot - just follow the radiactive glow.

In my opinion at the worst of times land rovers don't seem to get much police action, mine looks like a rough and ready illegal machine but I've not once had a pull, whereas only a few years back in my hot hatch days it was almost a nightly ritual!

When i first got my Disco I used to get pulled over all the time and it was standard, now its got a lift, snorkel and winch I havent been pulled for ages. Cant get my head round that at all.

Sorry but I have a pet hate of anything Kawasaki Lime Green that isn't a KAWASAKI! (That counts for Focus Lime Green too....) Grrr.....
