Rear door wont open!

Hello Folks, 3 door Freelander, rear door wont open, glass will not drop on pulling handle.

Any quick checks that a women would understand, Im stuck offshore at this time!

This has been covered before, not sure of the thread, but if you do a search - yu shd find it easily enuf.

I had this other month ,there was the end loop of wire sticking down under rear handle so i run a flat screwdriver under it and door opened .Havent had problem since .Lifted handle as far as it will go and run through gap

i know this isnt a cure and there is a problem somewhere.Will get round to sorting mine when im happy with my engine!
