blues and twos informed me that im a headlight down on a ships compliment this morning ..

got a nice warning on account of it being an old car n me telling him i only replaced it on saturday new bulb musta fecked the fuse now (did i feck change it- n he knows it)

mainbeam works though - so in a defender thats about as bright as an average headlight :D

now when i got to work i opened the bonnet and went to get the offending bulb out to get a newun at lunch - the rear of the lamp is a perfect half sphere ......

does access to the bulb come from taking the unit out the bowl from the front or are these likely to be sealed beam units and require unit replacement ?

if its unit replacement - anything better than stock worth getting ? or are the generics as good as it gets without spending silly money.

depends what age the landy is if its sealed beams, Non the less the headlight finisher, side light and indicator have to be removed so that you can then remove the headlight bowl and change the bulb or if sealed beam replace or upgrade it
