L322 Headlight Question

Hello,

After a pheasant decided to make a kamikaze dive into my near side headlight ( it broke the lens of the unit and the internal surround of the main beam lamp) I’m looking around the breakers yards for a used replacement, the cost of of new Xenon unit is about half the residual on the vehicle.

Am I right in assuming I need to locate one with the exact same serial number above the bar code on the current one or will others fit. Mine is a 2008 MY And I’m assuming it’s got Xenon headlights.

Yip, xenon and the same part number will guarantee there's no issues in the lcm unit.
