Much to my frustration I have had to use my truck with only the NS dip working for a couple of weeks now, I straight away took the unit out to replace the bulb but the bulb was in fact fine, so I checked the wires in the unit and each connector in the plug, moved relays around and went through the fuses, Main beam works as does side light and indicator.....
It was occasionally coming into life but hasn't for a week or so now, last night I removed the battery to charge it and saw the loom under the battery box which has had me thinking today...........
So the question is; where does that part of the loom run?

Sounds like a wire has worn through or summat, if it faltered for a while then died. Can you get powere and earht to the bulb connector when it is allegedly switched on?

That's exactly what I thought hence the question :D:D
I have power in the plug but I had the plug disconnected so I didn't know which was what and was losing daylight so I had to abandon the job

Hopefully tomorrow you'll have the time and light to chase this down. I think for once, on these wretched over complex electirkery vehicles, thsi problem might actually be fairly straightforward.
(Famous last words!)
Best of luck mate!:):)
