Chink chink chink:p

Reet then, time fer an update. Undid O/S lock nut with a long 3/8" extension bar, a bit of filing an a big piece of 42.4 tube I had lying around. Lock nut was done up too tight, inner nut was as slack as a whore's flaps. Next I found that the ABS ring hadn't been fitted properly and had been rubbing an goosed me ABS sensor :( Cleaned it up, fitted new disks, new bearings and put ABS ring back correctly. Tightened everything up, fitted new pads which were the right size this time - old disks were knackered because wrong pads had bin fitted :(

Did the other side quite easily - ABS ring fitted correctly, but still wrong size pads had gubbed the disk and the bearings were not fitted right. Went for a test drive, marvellous, went over a few rough bits, bit of a noise. Stopped in pub car park for a celebratory drink, full lock manouvering out, clink clank, clunk, thud - back wheels locked. Oops, think me diff is gubbed :( Gonna remove an take a peek tomorrow, sounds like the planetary diff gears are mangled as it's fine in a straight line, just can't turn corners. So, had to turn up to me noo job today in the Deepender - caused a bit of discussion ;)
