Hello i am in Miami FL and my 1997 p38 whit 167.000 miles last weekend overheat i notice bubbles in the radiator feller tank ,can someone help me what can cause the problem ? there is no water in the oil, teh landR start ok and no miss firing .

watch the bubbles while the engine ticks over, if they are rythemic then its slipped liner or head gasket, get a hydrocarbon test on the coolant and/or a compression test on the cylinders!!

welcome to landy zone by the way!!

thank you i have the spark plugs out and they are firing ok . i start to disasamble the engine where can i find a manual that can help me with the tork and the sequence .

i'm knackered, on mornings at work, i hate mornings!!!

might have rangey on road at end of month, just got to sort tyres and it'll be taxed and insured!! hopefully!!!

i'll wait till i get a bit older and prolly have a disaster, end in a wheelchair and big payout. good thing is they keep you on and find you a job you can do!!!

gav i worked for local authority,i had a accident it cost me my job health blah blah blah,no big payout,i got a payout but had to give gov back nearly 40 k out of it.if the ****e of my so called working partner would have wrote and signed the letter stating what had happened i would have got a massive payout but he would not as he said they might get rid of him as well.:mad::mad:

its the same where i am, dangerous environment. ****e in atmosphere and all they bothered about is safety glasses! if anything pokes me in the eye it will kill me as it will be poisenous, very heavy or molten!! i doubt the glasses will stop heavy, poisenous molten metal melting my face off!

but so long as i have glasses on i should be able to live forever!!
