Hi All,

Sorry about the late response, I understand that you would like this information posted for future reference however when there is information about a specific vehicle it may not be relevant to all vehicles, if there are any questions about a certain vehicle that you would like to ask I will be more than happy to see if there is any information I can find out for you.

Thanks

Nicola

Hi Nicola

What is being said is that this is an open forum that works by others sharing experiences/learnings/problems.

I would be very surprised if much (anything?) is truly specific to a single Landy - model or year yes, but an individual vehicle? Really?

I personally have learnt loads by reading what others have attempted and discovered.

Why not start your own post introducing yourself, giving a little background about who you are, what you do and how you can help us in the quest to keep our Landys alive and well?

basically, its polite spam.:nospamhere:

Thanks Gratch

For those as daft as me - just found Nicola's first post on the 'Welcome' pages

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f20/hi-all-156995.html#post1541920

Becoming more common for large Coys to follow social network and community sites as a way of gauging consumer reaction/feedback.

The better ones try and use it to quickly resolve problems too.

So welcome Nicola - expanding on the specific areas that you can help with would be good to know

Of course the information should be posted public for future reference... your advice may be just what a newbie needs and will hopefully search for it.

If all your gonna do is PM everyone with advice on problems (which probably consists of dealin with landrover... at a high expense to the pocket)....its hardly joinin in the community is it  like goonarmy says its polite spam. :(

I agree.

If what you are sending by PM is of use to that one person.
It is of use to many people!!

As thats what LZ and all Forums are about, sharing with community, ya know the one you said you were here to join rather than spam and sell stuff?

If in your PM all you say is.

:hysterically_laughi classic!

hey Nicola - have a read of this then - thats a pretty common fault - Stolen headlights - Page 5 - Land Rover Zone - whats yo take on that?

Hi,

I've looked at Sarah_46's post about her vehicle and her call to the Land Rover Customer Relations. Here at the Customer Relations we are made aware of concerns with our vehicles when customers call in.

It's been brought to my attention today that there are numerous posts regarding this situation, and I appreciate that this is frustrating. I am in the process of passing this over to our engineering department to let them know of the concern with Sarah_46's vehicle. Sadly I won't be able to post any technical feedback on this site, but I will make sure that the relevant departments have been updated regarding this.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Regards

Nicola

WTF?

:alien:

In other words I/Landrover will not be helping Landrover people on a public Landrover forum??

Maybe as a good will gesture you can tell us the problems I may have with the Freelander 2 Autobox.

Or do I need to tell the missus she wont be having a Freelander 2 for Christmas

me too.. you are offering nothing than what i already knew.. i may as well just go to a stealership everytime i get a problem!

Wow - so it's not just Audi forums that get ****ed off when Audi Co. interferes
Audi forums fixed my car way better and cheaper than the stealer ever did!
I love it here - think I'll stay for a while :)

p.s. local garage was so shocked at total lack of corrosion protection on my new car that they gave me a really good deal. Now my Defender has black underwear (pfhwooooahhh)
