Alright
today whilst the truck was jacked up to change the drivers side wheel I noticed that if i held onto the top and the bottom of the tyre and wiggled it it had about 3mm of play in it, i could see the disk moving as i done this. I span the wheel round and it sounded ok, just the sound of the pad rubbing softly on the disk.
Afterwards i done the same on the other side and that had a little less but still some play in it, it also sounded fine when spun.
I assumed it was supposed to be rock solid and so am wondering is this the wheel bearings on their way out?
any replies greatly appreciated
