Steering wheel illumination

Hi Folks, I am looking for some help/advice on an issue I'm having with my 2014 Discovery.

The steering wheel controls are not illuminated anymore & I'm struggling to understand why? Nothing has changed & no work has been done to the steering wheel, the only work that was done recently was on the inlet manifolds and I don't see anyway that could affect the steering wheel controls but I'm no expert so open to ideas!

As I said, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
