nanocom to rent

this could sound strange but i am planning to buy a nanocom for my disco then i thought instead of using it once a while i can just rent it out to forum members on a daily or weekly basis to make some money out of it.
i cannot seem to have anyone near me to help with nanocom...paying 55 quid each time to a lr specialist sounds very silly

what do you think??? who are my first customers!!??

Most of us help each other - coz we never know when we might need help - not to make a buck out of it .

Seems a bit pedantic and a bit stingy, TBH, bad enough that the Landy industry is out to rip us off at every turn.

would you send your nanocom/hawkeye out to a forum member for a week or so for free? if yes and if you have one? can I have it please?
i wouldnt get confused with helping your mate out if he drives over to yours and you read the codes etc. for him for free.

Its been done before.......

I haven't got one, I've only needed it once so I used my friends one. I can't see renting one out to strangers you meet off the net working for long before it goes missing or gets broken. if you need one, just buy one for yourself and be done with it, if my mate did not have one I would buy one, but the thought of trying to earn from it would never enter my mind.
Go out and get some friends!

Yes I would and have done in the past also loaned to people for a number of weeks, reset various dash lights, never had a problem.

I've also loaned mine out many times and any beer tokens that I was offered went towards more licences so I can now help any P38 owner.

I'm not sure about letting it be plugged into a Disco though - it might catch something working class

Me too,lent it out for several weeks,just what you do,to bods on here.
