Righto, I have been told that that you can remove the belt driven fan from behind the radiator of a RRC and replace it with a electric fan from a nissan pinatra and that it will give you a more power.

Has any one tried this before?

This has been asked a few times before but generally people are replacing with a Kenlowe one or something.

I always am of the opinion, why would you want to remove it to put in something electrical that is far more likely to fail??

But then again, others have fitted electric fans and think they are great, personally I wouldn't remove the viscous fan. I don't think you would see massive power gains to be honest.

The electrics probably wouldn’t have much chance of failing if you did a good job of installing it.
I was just wondering if the increase in power made it worth my time?
