Help!

Ive just spent all day trying to understand the wiring on my landy, have tried official workshop books, dad and youtube before coming here.

Got a TD5 Defender 2006 with aircon and the aircon fan bolted on the front. As of late it seems to be turning on as soon as I start the engine regardless if the aircon compressor is engaged or not I always thought the fan was purely for the aircon.

Im starting to think that its not just for aircon but an additional cooling fan infront of the big viscous fan but it starts up even if the engine is cold so now I'm a bit dirty, sweaty and flummoxed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Heres what I know for sure:

(All whilst the engine is running)

-the fan is drawing power from Fuse 29 (20A), when I remove the fuse the fan stops.

-when I remove A/C relay 1 nothing happens
-when I remove A/C relay 2 the engine stops

-there is a standalone (15A) fuse in the Underseat compartment with brown and brown/orange cables that when I remove the fuse also stops the fan, this is drawing power from Fuse 29 on the brown/orange cable.

All fuses and relays checked and working.

So,
Id like to know what is energizing the fan, what causes it to turn on/stay on and switch off, any leads would be great.

Cheers
