I only just got this Defender, it has been built on a 100 inch chassis, it has a 2 inch lift, it has been built professionally, with 3.9 v8i with race cam, engine has been moved back 10 inches to give it better stability, and boy does it shift. exterior side.JPG

Nice looking motor - but i profess to being a bit confused - why would someone want to fit a race cam and 2" lift. I mean - you wouldnt want to use a race engine offroad and a 2" lift wont help roadholding - they seem to be contra-conducive?

special indeed why chop half the roof off what benfit does it make?

its 1 of kind suppose and i do like my 1 off's

its like a defendersport they did the same to the range rover sport chop the cab in half makeing it lower

tidy job

I'd get the front end rust proofed prettyu quick looks to be going rusty already, Like said before seems a bit pointless lifting it and fitting a race cam for off road racing. Any ideas what BHP or what its running? Whats underneath has it got some special shafts/drivetrain and the important race stuff like decent shocks? Jai

Only picked it up this week, don't know all the ins and outs yet, there is a little rust under the front, which I am sorting next weekend, I have some nice new Koni shocks to put on the back as 1 is leaking. There are a few little things that need doing, and then it will be spot on. Needs new tyres, the ones on at the moment are remoulds and they are starting to delaminate. I don't know whether to keep existing bumper or go for something special for the front with some nice Spot lights.
