MHM Lecky fan fitting in piccies

Here you go - I will attempt to do a proper write-up when I have time. FYI it is a Peugeot 306 Fan.

for this you will need the 306 fan & cowl. the radiator (for the switch fixing), the fan switch and loom (from fan to rad) and the loom from the fan cowl to the n/s wing- get as much as you can.

Can a fan be mounted on the engine side of the radiator?

not really - not enough room. Why would you want to - there is hardly any room - but tons between the rad and the front grill.

will the rad be big enough?

yu only need the 306 rad fur the thermo switch fitting and its mounting block - not to use as a rad - yu use the series rad.

so why say yer need the rad and the switch? shirley yer can see how thats a tad misleading?

coz if yu furget the rad - its a bugger to fit the switch into summat else. If yu get the 306 rad - yu can cut out and re-use the switch mount fur the 306 thermo switch.

ffs this is hard - the switch is mounted in the radiator on the 306.

Yup - but if yu forget to get the rad - like wot i did - yu have to go find one.

In fairness - I aint used this bit yet - but its better to have it and not use it then not have it when yu do need it - ?

So the rad then, as a percentage, how much of it's total mass do you achally need?

am thinking its just a very small amount, oh probelly about <1&#37;..

I dunno, looking at how much of the rad you got has rusted away Daft I'd reckon the bit yer need is nearer 10&#37; of the total remaining!

is that 10&#37; of the landy rad or the poogut rad

Int it gonna leak out the ends when yer put the hose on the piece of pug rad

havent decided how to mount the switch proper yet - maybe make up a tube to fit int o hose somewhere with the switch mounted into the side - but at the mo I mite just superglue the switch onto the series rad - just fur the Sodbury - an hope it dont fall orf.
