Lz rescue! Currently in a ditch

Hi all.

I'm in a bit of trouble. Driving along the a38 towards Bristol. Heard a rattle from rear axle so slowed down a bit. And then the rear left wheel locked and now I'm in a ditch. Can't pull the Landy out. RAC on it's way with an expected 5 hour wait....? Can anyone help or know what might have caused it?

Apparently I'm low priority and they will need 'specialist equipment' to remove it from the ditch

Your be getting a Ratty then if your lucky.

No Ratty - most likely Western Recovery.

They might charge yu to get yu out of the ditch - anyone local?????

Bloody shouldn't charge him if he's had an off due to vehicular failure...not as if he's having a jolly along the green lane side of the A38!

he is working - and they dont have the RAC contract.

Where are you? I'm not a million miles up the M5

if he can be got out of the ditch - that make a considerable difference to any charges

Wrong side of Brissol but I'm up for a mission..........my winch'll either pull him out or me in

anyone else available - the more the easier.....
