I have a Landrover Freelander 2001, have noticed recently that after driving and switching off the engine a very loud noise comes from under the bonnet kind of like fan noise? Its quite loud and people tend to stare at me as if its gonna blow up!!
Just wondering if this is normal as I bought it in the summer, and maybe was doing it because of the coldtemperature?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

many thanks

wot? Owning a 1.8 Hippoo - lets just say its only marginally better than than going to a fancy dress hemorrhoid party dressed as a sheep, with Yella as yo partner

dunt hijack the poor lads thread.....

he's concerned as to what the noise is....

does it sound owt like the intro to pink floyd's "money"??:D

wonder if it sounds like the noise the 1.8 petrol was making that i had to recover off the A55 at 6am this morning?

could've made a lovely mayo sandwich with the engine oil:rolleyes:
