also could of any of you 'clever clogs' answer this for me too please?

'Also; it has four brand new mud flaps (taken off when it was new) all the bolt's are there but there are 4 black thick washers, any ideas what they are? i was thinking for electro chemical corrosion or something like that? i will be using full stainless steel bolt kit for the mud flaps.'

seem's more like the people are wining because ive got a defender... i know a lot of spoilt kids and i wouldn't class myself as one.

You wouldn't class yourself as spoilt ?

You've been given a 58 plate defender thats got to be worth between £12,000 - £20,000

You're not paying insurance are you ? you're just looking for the best quote to give over to mummy

You've already got a corsa which is most probably new-ish too

Haven't exactly got it rough have you ?

If washers are given for use with a product use them, I'd assume it would be to stop the bolt scratching the paintwork on the rear x-member to reduce corrosion

You don't really need mudflaps anyway, they don't add to the look of the vehicle

But as storm says they are what they are……washers to go with the nuts and bolts

4 for 10 ? use one on one corner of each flap then

Well not related to you but your friend sounds like a bit of a douché in that case, a RR with Gucci seats……sounds like the family business is pimping

And as we all know BMW drivers are the scum of the earth, cutting you up everywhere you drive and never dipping full beam when driving past. I thank the good people at KC made 150w spotlights for the army and then sold them to the public, serves them right if they crash after I blind them. Just returning the favour

As to your insurance I'll throw you a bone so to say

Insure with flux, keep the corsa and be the only driver on the policy. I'm £650-£950 depending on the cover I want for a V8 109 which has been modded, the V8 engine swap sends prices sky high

I'm only 20 with 1 year NCB and 3 points although they're nearly gone now (as of this coming march)

Get your friends family to to buy the defender from you and put you on their insurance problem sorted....
