Land Rover and Renault Trucks have agreed to work together on UK military projects. The press release is at this link: http://www.renault-trucks-defense.c...imageCode=144906&codeSite=J46RTDEFENSE&etat=1

Renault Trucks are part of the Swedish owned Volvo, the largest truck manufacturing group in Europe. The cooporation will be initially based around the SHERPA 4 * 4 which is like a Defender on steroids and will be assembled, if they win orders, at Solihull. It is also possible the vehicle will carry the Land Rover badge.

A short video of the vehicle is here: http://www.renault-trucks-defense.com/sherpa_2_2000813_0.html?lang=en

Picture of a civilian version here: http://www.renault-trucks.info/capetocape/index.php?langue=en&prehome=0

When it has a Land Rover badge it will be called something else I think. Any suggestions for a new name?
