Bought a 2002 Disco TD 5 from a dealer off Autotrader. He forgot to mention it was a cat D write off ! That might explain why I have spent over £4,500 repairing it in twelve months. New gearbox / transfer/ drive shafts /clutch/ springs the list has been endless ! The only people who have been glad to it are M & M 4 x4 specialists in Droitwich Spa. Only discovered this last week when I went to trade it in for a Mercedes . Should have had more sense having been a criminal lawyer for twenty three years. Building case against the dealer /supplier at this time. If all else fails will sell the whole lot as spares including the new Range Rover tyres and wheels. The worst car I have ever owned in 33 years of motoring. Had to buy a Volvo s 40 to get around in .. while my Disco 2 stands on my drive !!

HI possibly buying a freelander 53 plate in fantastic condition head gaskit done cam belt done only problem is once its hot the revs drop to 500 sounds a bit missy can anyone advise on this poss problem

i'm sure the right thing'll come along if you keep at what you've been doing.

no sort of given up at the moment, as ive been working odd days on a boat yard and building a shelter. should start the new driveway and workshop while still work on my landy so it is abit of a struggle when i have all of that to do. a job would be nice but i havnt rearlly time at the moment although if the right job came along i wouldnt say no.
