Instrumentation fails when braking

First time caller

I have a 2007 GS TD4. When braking, the instrumentation panel fails together with indicators. The panel generally recovers when foot is taken off the foot brake but on ocassion fails completely.

Performance of car is otherwise unaffected

This has been checked by a LR dealer who temporarily fixed the problem (without being able identifying what souce of the problem was or how they fixed it).

Does anyone have any experience of this problem?

Earth fault maybe
Check battery terminals and earth points

bet its in need of a software update.

could it be a cable shorting out under braking?

under braking it could be moving and the cables might not be full home thus loosing all

It looks like I`ll need to put it back into the dealer but I`ll report back with the outcome.
