Go on a basic mechanics course at your local college, it will help
Another mechanic is easily found.
As for a more helpful forum ..... good luck with that - when you find one, let me know.

But there's a waiting list as the lecturers are too busy with the Advanced Further Intensive Tratter Welding Course.
