Help strange electrical gremlins

range rover classic soft dash
brakelight/handbrake/pad warning lit have fitted new brakelight switch checked fluid levels to no avail.
then drivers seat controls stopped working along with mirror adjustment.
strangely then seat controls operate mirrors but not seat itself
any suggestions

The seat controls are notorious for getting little bits of crap down in the workings causing intermittent problems. I used spray contact cleaner shot down into the guts and that helped mine. Your pad warning light may be on because, well, your pads are getting thin. Have you checked them?

Check Pads and Discs.....if all is well, check the very vunerable wiring to the pad sensor as it is only a small wire and is easily broken....

As I type this, I realise the wire broken issue *may* not give the indication UNLESS it is earthed on something due to broken isulation and is rubbing on something....
