So I've been having trouble with the E.K.A all weekend and even with the help of MOZZ on the other end of the phone it doesn't seem to be accepting/recognising the code. So does anybody have a syncmate or nanocom that could come over to help me out in Doncaster. I'll compensate your time with cash and a crate of lager, just let me know how much and your preferred tipple so I can get before you come. Thanks and I hope somebody on this forum can help me out.

You need to state what engine you have (diesel, Gems or Bosch) so that you can find a Nanocom with the correct modules.

I've got a nanocom but it's only licensed for D2 TD5's

Base P38 license (needed for doing EKA, keys etc) is 102 quid
GEMS license is another 50
Green OBD lead is another 50 notes

So looking at about 200 quid to be able to sort it :(

Would I be able to get another BeCM and just plug it straight in? Would that work or just create more problems? I've seen a couple on fleabay for around £100

Have to wait for someone who knows the P38 to answer that one I'm afraid buddy.

Wish I had more unlocks for the Nano as I honestly don't mind helping folk out with it, just not something I'm likely to splash out on myself.

Would it be worth me buying a nanocom in the long run. At the minute I literally only need it for the EKA unlock. And at £360 it's quite a lot of money to shell out on

BeCM isn't plug and play....as as above the Nanocom will do all you could wish for!

At the moment you only need it for the EKA reset...but you may just need its other features in the future....£360 is 3 trips to a dealer for an hour a time!

I think the Nanocom was one of the best buys I made for my D2, really easy to troubleshoot issues and no messing about getting the motor to a dealer to get hooked up.

There's a group buy going on in here at the moment and it usually works out a lot cheaper...

If you intend to keep the vehicle, you have no option really, dealers will stitch you up every time/ and faults occur at the most inconvenient times/
