Help! Need P38 compressor ASAP in Sussex.

Hi, compressor has failed on my P38 and I need to drive to Bournmouth on Monday. Happy to buy one borrow one. I have a piston kit, so it doesn't matter if that bit is knackered. Just need electrical side to be good. Happy to drive 50 miles to collect.

It's not the sort of thing many folk will have lying around, this has a better chance in the Rangie section so I'll move it

I have one but I am more than 50 miles away. Kurt Johnson had one in the For Sale section recently.

Happy to lend you a spare until you get a replacement as long as you give it back!

Yes. Should be good. Royal Mail do next day delivery. Open the grub screw and check the piston is on tight. Not all new ones are. I had a new one come off leaving a right mess.

You might also want an emergency inflator kit. Get the couplings from Activ -Air or somewhere decent. Stuff on the Bay is crap. Don't fit it but keep it as backup.

After a short road trip and compressor service kit, I am back on the road again.

Another replacement unit secured from elsewhere on Forum too at great price. Today has turned out pretty good in the end.
