Good news on the veg oil front!

Oh well Grangemouth refinery is shutting down, so if u aint started using a mix of veg oil and diesel nows the time! every ones panic buying.
Unfortunatly Lidls are up to 95p per litre after some **** got caught photographed in the Sun newspaper filling up his Seat! (the car!)
Have a freindly word with your local bar (if the sell food) i have and am getting SVO 20 ltrs for £15.

Ah don't think it's owt tae do wi' the **** in the Sun, prices for vag oil have bin goin' daft for a wee while now.
And the chances are the stuff yer local bar is usin' will probably be the long life stuff like ye get from the cash 'n' carry and be full of additives!
But these are just my thoughts

Nah mate its 100% pure rapeseed, checked it oot, sorry no i never seen the original thread, away to check it oot now. Lot o stations taking the P! apparently the scottish executive is gonna hammer them if there caught upping the prices purely over demand. Think its about time Mr Darling realized the impact of the tax thats on fuel for the normal motorist. I had to pay £1.21 per Ltr in Inverness yesterday but hey the veg oil stretched it. cheapest up here is 117.9 Per ltr but sold out!

Anyone ever put veg oil in a TD5

welcome MormonD - do you think that it might be a good idea to try and do a search on lz before you ask such intelligent and pertinent questions of such an esteemed and generally cantankerous crowd?

JUST TPED VEG OIL IN TD5, came back no matches found

the reason for that is that the search engine doesnt like words of 3 letters or less - so you could try "vegetable" and "discovery"
