I can't find my thread now the 'your posts/threads/search's function is out of order. If someone can find it I'll update but tbh the only thing that's changed on the garage itself is that the base has been back filled with mot and capped off with concrete. I've been doing lots of other jobs that wouldn't be affected by the cold and rain like lying the drainage, leveling the drive etc. I should be laying blocks again in the next week or so:).

britpart sell corteco and other decent brands as well as pattern ,they have 2 swivel kits pattern and a decent g suffix one

I just bought an exhaust box, I couldn't find the correct Bosal part number so went for one of these ''land rover approved'' ''decent'' ''oem quality'' aftermarket ones supplied by bearmach, its crap, very thin gauge steel, the welding was done by a monkey, the seam on the box was nothing more than criminal and the turning on the end baffles was pathetic, it even came with its own dents in it. Just because it isn't pattern does not make it OEM, ''Oem quality'' is how they seem to be selling it nowadays,

Hoping to order some parts this week if I get back to work.
Anyway In my parts it lists book 2 numbers for the big black seal behind ball, FRC2889 and FTC3401 and says they are both 9mm , In Paddocks it states that it is 8mm.
Now I had same problem with my 90 couple of years ago, garage fitted swivel kit but this part was wrong cant remember which way round it was but day after fitting it was leaking from this seal so they had to order right one and change it.
So Question is which one do I get 8mm or 9mm. ?? Only showing 8mm in parts book.

ftc3401 supercedes frc2889 so either will do
Thanks James. The excuse the garage gave me that time, because it leaked they said that it was the difference between 8 and 9 mm, when they changed it they loosed the bolts behind the ball and pulled whole hub out.
That's what they told me anyway, Know how to do it myself this time :) Just want to make sure I get the right size.
Thanks Again

No parts yet still skint :(
Just getting on with other things, Steering box just about rubbed down except for the hard to get bits, might put some paint stripper or something on it, Don't want to prime and paint like that in case paint starts falling off.

there is aeu2515, but if you undo the nut it takes some effort to get the preload correct ,it uses a collapsible spacer

not really ,ive done a lot if you need any advice, you can reuse the same spacer and carefully tightening it back up or buy a new ,youll need a 3ft tool made up to hold flange as nut is a steel locker and takes some tightening, also seal has a thin gasket 607138

Thanks Again, What kind of tool, is it ? do you know the part number for the spacer? Cheers

Found this
Gives me a good Idea of what I have to do , see what you mean about the tool. He marks the nut then tightens back to mark, for preload is it OK to do it that way ?
