Hi

Just bought a 1986 ex military 90 soft top and bought and fitted Insa Sahara Mud Terrain 235 85 16 on Black Mods. They didnt ask if the 90 was lifted or still had standard suspension.

Looking at varoius posts, i could of made a bit of a cock up and should of got 235 75 16...too late now...

Can I get away with this? Cant really afford to lift it 2"

Cheers
Mark

What have 223/85/16 tyres got to do with 235/85/16 tyres or 235/75 tyres?

Hi

Who didn't ask if it was lifted? You fitted them according to your above statement so I'm assuming you are refering to the tyre dealer. When you buy tyres for a vehicle the tyre dealer doesn't automatically ask what mods the vehicle has as they assume that when you phone up and say I want some 235/85/16 tyres you want to buy some 235/85/16 tyres.

Looking at varoius posts, i could of made a bit of a cock up and should of got 235 75 16...too late now...

Erm would you like to show us these posts?

I dunno if standard size tyres will fit a standard vehicle without modification.:rolleyes::rolleyes::doh:
