Mine currently stands at new exhaust (de-cat and straight through pipe), welding and then tree sliders to go on.
 
I am going to be ordering my new shocks and spring next few days, as a cheque has just arrived..... so hopefully will have mine done soon as well, lol.

will now get my passagner window done now as well, lol

So soon it will all work, lol.

BTW Matt did not get that Roofrack, it went for £50
 
That's quite a list Nick.

Don't forget I have working electric sunroofs on my breaker if you need anything.

If you need a hand with anything your welcome over to mine. I have done a couple of Decat pipes here and have a high lift jack which you will need to lift the body away from the chassis to get the old pipe off and the new one in. I even have my Decat for sale if you have not brought one yet.

I might take it round the outlaws and get it jacked up and get the old parts off before the new stuff gets delivered. I've got 4 axle stands, so hopefully the chassis would sit ok on them?

In the mean time I'm going to try and complete the following tasks:
De-Cat
Check / adjust tappets
Clean sedimentor
Change fuel filter
Change front diff oil
Try and sort front sunroof - its not working at all.
Fit the electrics for the tow bar - Not that i can afford the tow bar yet.
Fit new radio (ebay £2.21 :D )
Fit a CB - if i can find a cheapo on eBay
& in the unlikely event all of that gets done I may have a go at sorting some of the bubbling paintwork.

Not 100% sure yet, looking about reading all side of a story, theres not realy much in it, people have their favorates, ask suppliers, most will always want to sell you product they make most on, what hey have in stock ect, read the Forumns and an answer can be found in favour or against all makes and models.

I would idealy like to get the terafirma big bore's, but i cant warrent them money being as it is.

Cant make up my mind HD or MD for the springs, spoken to a few suppliers and users, and got many differnt answers. I will prob go MD.

I must admit, I am leaning towards a Britpart kit at the mo, I will be putting dislocation cones on at the same time, front and rear.

I know people call it **** part but so far the stuff from britpart I have brought has been no problem, can only say what i have found.

As you know Stu my Britpart HD springs sagged after a few months, replaced them with bearmach HD still same height as when I put them on. beware!!!!

I would realy like to put Terafirma Springs on with a set of Big Bore Shocks, but only use front shocks with rear top shock mounts so I got the same front and rear.

I been offered a good price for the britpart kit with dislocation cones at the mo, so thats one thing that is making me swing that way as well , as you all know money is shall we say very tight at mo, and with the offer of replacement if I dont like them, and I am a sucker for a local buy as well.

Until I place the order I do not know realy which way I will go, The more I think about it, think I will be going Meduim Duty Spring's tho.
 
Going to try and sort the exhaust early next week. I think I've sourced all the parts I need.

Any any other jobs I can find to avoid getting the welder out :D
 
Laning:
Provided I get the Disco sorted intime I'm going to suggest a day laning on Saturday 18th
Its the driving day on Sunday which I won't be able to make.
Who is up for it and where to go.
I think my vote would be the route we did after Christmas. But incorping Terling Ford (on route down, well for me :D ) and Good Easter ford (never been before).

Also I'm going to try and do the lift kit during that week (commencing Monday 13th) Stu would it be OK to borrow the spring compressor then.
Anyone want to come round and help for a few beer tokens.

How long will it take?

Drizz, I think an A team paintwork would be good with them big wheels!
How is the project coming along?
