Essex lanes

As Drizz said, they opened a Brantree branch a few months ago

always found them helpful at maldon (especially Graham lol) didn't realise they has opened a second shop tho oh well maldon is still closer for me

Well i'll have to get myself up to either the Maldon or Briantree one next Saturday rather than buy online. That 60 miler sounds good, i did a run out to Newport a few years ago but can't remember the way. We'll have to try and arrange something for a few weeks time. I was given a map the other night for some lanes round Thetford but i'm racing mountian bikes there this Sunday so won't get a chance to look them up.

There are supposed to be some good ones in Thetford forrest which are the ones you probably mean. Was planning to give those a go in the summer.

I'm just waiting for others. I dont suppose Thetford will be soon as its a bit of a trek, but hopefully a few Essex lanes will be a chance for a few of us to meet up. There seems to be about 5 or 6 people from this forum in the essex area all up for a day out.

Lets hope we can all get together soon.

I got a PM earlier in the week from Goonarmy and replied, but not heard back either way yet.

I cant do the mornings as my wife is working and I have 'Dads Taxi' duties for my daughter.

Would be free after 2.0pm though.

Is it still on for the 7th? Have you organised a meeting place?

Whats on the 7th? There is a little outing this weekend I believe.

i know a few fords, water splashes and about 30 miles of lanes (though accesability could be an issue on a few) i think i know where my old map is with all lanes marked.
