Driving and using a mobile phone

People who smoke and drive also annoy me. I don't get why it's legal when it's potentially just as much of a distraction as using a mobile phone. If you're driving and drop your ash, there is an almost certain probability that you will be distracted.

The government really need to be more consistent if they expect people to take any notice.

Rich
****ing smokers wrecking the interior of me otherwise pristine company motor, burn them too.

Some people are either good at driving safely with something in their hand or not. The controls on your radio can be as much of a distraction as a phone or cigarette. One of my sisters ex's went into the back of someone not long after he passed his test from fiddling about with his stereo. Mind, i was only about ten at the time lol.

Me personally, i can't read the screen of my phone and drive at the same time, so therefore i don't. If i want to change track on the stereo (usually through my phone) i wait until i'm at traffic lights which i know aren't going to change for a while. I'm not risking my freeby and my insurance is expensive enough as it is with my age. I also don't want someones injuries or even a death on my conscience.

However i know people who i'm sure can go cross-eyed and use a phone and drive perfectly safe at the same time. And they're not the type of person to risk anything either.

Personally I'm more distracted by fit birds walking to work or whatever, specially now the good weather is on its way, but now I'm married so ...

But I still like to keep a distance from the monkey driving in front.

Having my kids bickering, fighting, wittering etc ,in the car are a regular distraction which may lead me to a number of traffic violations- rather than take the chance of some vigalent member of society pointing out the error of my ways to the police - I wish to be more proactive in my approach.............

as a result I have just rung social services and have asked that all my children can be taken into care to counteract the fear of breaking the law.

Phew............. I can now rest easy in my bed as a responsible member of society:)
