Yea it is 1mm or 1.5mm steel i forget, ill have a look, it was around 35quid, i didnt get it on its own so not 100% on price.
I just brought a full sheet.

Looking very smart. Chassis looks nice and clean too. Sunroof idea sounds great and shouldn't obscure the rad too much.

Yea im cleaning n painting as i go :).
Its the other way around, the rad will probably obscure the window visibility.
But for sure, if there's a good place for it, ill probably put it in as it is a rather good idea!

Very nice mate, I have my old 200 that the backend is completely shot away, I'm in 2 minds weather to break it or Tray back it at the mo it's sat at work gathering more rust, the engine and running gear are spit on So after looking at this I think you may of made my mind up ;-) keep the updates comeing mate can't wait to see how she turns out

ive used a sheet of steel to finish the back, got a series tank coming from a guy on here soon. will continue after the new year.
Gillettd, why not, if u got the space and willingness. do it!

So is the back simply going to be a sheet of metal covering the chassis? I have no experience of tray backs but I suppose it's in the name lol.

I wouldn't have the guts to do this to mine, beside it's too good anyhow, just, but I do fancy a subtle bobtail like Wiltshire mans.

Can't wait until new year with the new pictures.

Ive not been working on it coz i hate the cold lol, ive been sorting my welder out, i was gona start last week but i was given a empty bottle of gas, so now its rdy to go ill be resuming at the end of the week!!
