Got my hole saw through :)

Looking good mate, hoping to do this myself in the not too distant future. Got the roof on my new garage this weekend so not long until I can start filling it with land rover bits

Im using scafolding, so no point bothering with MSA as the require seamless. im just going to use triangulation to create a strong shape.

Not strictly true. They do not require seamless redband/blueband which most scsffold poles exceed tbh.

Just asking because the extra work to get it to be msa approved would be well worthwhile imo it gives you more options when it comes to playing at certain venues

Especially as its being built to be a tray back most tray backs are made to compete. doing all that work and then being told no feck orff would be most upsetting after doing all that work.

I posted because most of the time sombody wants a cage purly for looks. They are not willing to Pay for a real one nor build a real cage because it encroaches on load space.

If your tray backing it anyhow the extra work involved would pay off if you did decide that you fancied a go at a real comp. Moreover if you did ever decide to sell it and the cage comes with a tag it increases the value no end.

jai, i duno if funds pemit me to make it to msa regs. Im doin it as cheap as pos tbh, ide have to buy sum more lengths of tube to make a hoop n im doin it a lil dif as the pipe i gots a lil shorter

backs going on
