Don't even think about going, or if you really insist, just park up at the entrance and have a walk around. First, you motor won't make it around and second it'll be trashed. The mud is like a fine grinding paste that destroys everything. I only live down the road from the place and won't go near the place again and I'm pretty up for anything.thinking of going for a trip out to devils pit near luton i have just got a standard p38 with standard tyres would like to know if this will be ok there or will i be just wasteing time going
If you want a pay & play, Yarwell nr. Peterborough is pretty non-damaging as it's sand.
that sed a p38 can get round most of bures, cos ive been with 2 over there.Have you been to Bures, thats an old sand pit and we have found, as well as many others who go there, sand and water are also like a corse grinding paste, discs and pads, dont last long, and its get everywhere.
If you dont want to damage a motor its easy dont take it of road. do a bit of gentle greenlaning.

ask kooky guy what his p38 was like when he came to the plainsI have a P38 and put my set of A/T's on for the odd bit of off roading on shoot days and it goes anywhere a disco does believe me i have both !! Why do so many people knock the P38 ? Yes it has its faults but dont all Landy's ? As Spyderman said dont go to Devils Pit it will ruin your motor !
