crystal halogen headlamps

has anybody fitted crystal halogen headlamps? (the ones with the profiled reflector) and are they any good?

Hello, i have fitted some crystal halogen headlamps to my 110, they are certainly brighter than the standard headlamps that were on there before.

thought they were only legal for pre 1974 cars?

cheers guys, brightness is what i want. where i live there are no police an you dont need an mot! sounds like heaven does it not.

Cheaper to fit 120/80w bulbs.

already got brighter bulbs but my 2 year old 'paddock' made in china H4 headlamps are already knackered so i was gonna replace m anyway, got some 'britpart' ones as replacements but they were even shoddier so i gave m to a farmer. Its a toss up between some decent 'Hellas' or these crystal ones but i know nowt about m cheers any ideas

Try having a look at www.boltonbits.com this is where i got mine from (i did not get them from the website, i bought them from a trade stand on a landrover event).

(These are not e-marked so only legal for off road use) - just so you know.
