Hi Folks,

I have been working on restoring a tired series 3 88 ex coast guard landy and the dilema I have is that I originally acquired this old lady for doing some off roading. As I'm nearing the end I am feeling guilty about abusing her with off roading as there seems so few of these machines left and maybe I should try preserving some heritage, your thoughts and comments would be welcome!!

Thanx

It was born to do what your doing with it!That it can still do it after all this time is testimant to the machine!Retsoring it and using it would be fine, restoring it and just looking at it-morally wrong!

Er ya go, before and after shots, not quiet yet finished though, rear tub back on and seat base, all the brakes done but still needs some effort to get her road worthy??

Yeah, the winch uses PTO and is complete anbd operational, just need to learn what and how to with it? The Chassis needed a lot of work, out riggers and such, but otherwise looking forward to abusing her!!
