Ok, I did take a few pics before removing the bulkhead:

The manifold clearance on the drivers side needed a bit of thought, as did the manifold itself

The other side was easier:

I decided that modifying the drivers side manifold would help somewhat so out came the grinder with cutting disc attached:

There, that's better :D

Nope, the bulkhead...my V8 is further back and lower down in the chassis than a stock set up, the manifolds (which are stock Land Rover incidentally, the engine came from a 130 V8) touched the bulkhead (which came from the same 130)

Been a while since I last did an update, and that's because I've been busy preping my garage to allow me to get on with my welding in a draught free environment, hope to finish that tomorrow.

However a few parts have been sorced for Letti off eBay and a fellow Scooby/Landy nutter mate Dyney :D thanks matey!

Dyney has supplied me with some Series doors with hinges, although I will need to find some tops, and a dash top to replace the damaged one I was originally going to use.

eBay has yielded:

3 new Rear tub floor supports: £30 (list is about £17.50 each)
Complete set of glass for a SWB hard top with rubbers (inc Alpine lights): £5
A brand new LR genuine part TD5 Heat assembly including the blower: £65 (List is £250)
A complete MG ZS half leather seat set (for the front seats): £10
Brand new defender Windscreen and Rubber: £15 (List around £90)

And my local Landy breaker (Martin Fiddler) has some sills for me :)
