Hi guys, I've had my 90 for about a month and it's costing me an awful lot in fuel, especially with diesel costing so much. It's been chipped which is meant to give you slightly better economy but I was wondering if anyone else had found ways of making the juice go further or even if anyone knows about running it on veg oil?

Cheers

Veg oil?
What's that? Never heard of that before - do yu have to squeeze carrots or something? No- one on here uses veg oil. We all use Shell premium.

Of course yu could search?

i make bio diesel from veg oil the landy runs smoother on the stuff

My old Na used to run alot smoother. Its because its not quite as much punch and feels smother but for the money it worked very well. Not noticable worse to drive but seemes smother slightly

Wife used to produce loads of Vag oil but as the old girl gets older she has to work harder to produce any so not enough to keep the tanks topped up anymore.

Have you checked it's all running right first? they're normally ok on fuel, has it been serviced? Have someone stick a computer on it, sometimes things like faulty air mass sensors can make them gulp juice, happened on my disco fuel economy went up by like 3mpg after fitting a new one, search forum for what to check on a td5, there's loads of things that could affect it! HTH :)
