Sorry if this topic has already been covered. I couldn't spot this topic on previous pages though
Basically I own an FL2 manual with the stop/start feature. I accept autos are easier to drive off road but the general vibe I get from FL2 owners I have chatted with (nobody on here lol) is that having an auto box somehow makes you superior, all more holy than thou sort of thing. I had a manual FL1 which was fine. I have driven several FL2 autos and I find them irritating. Kick down is jerky and it revs too high. Owners boast about superior refinement of auto but I would never buy one. I am biased to manuals of course but I love the control they give and it is so smooth when changing. Plus it is 2 tax bands lower and uses less fuel.
Sorry for babbling on:blabla::blabla::blabla:. Just my humble opinion and there are pros and cons for both. I just think some auto owners boast about refinement but have never driven the manual. I can't comment on the FL1 auto though.
Opinions please
