Looking around for a replacement 110 and came across these, a fair way from me but if they're good it'll be worth it

Landrovers UK are just a few miles from me. Their vehicles are usually in pretty good nick but are strong money.

was looking at the 1988 110, looks really nice but as you say 'strong' money

Half that would be more like it really.

Exactly !!!!
Find several more and print off the details.
The more the merrier. Give copies to the loss adjuster.
He'll find it extremely hard to argue the toss if you stand your ground.
Tell him prices of 4x4s are on the up as winter is just around the corner so he better get his finger out and settle up sharpish.

My initial reaction is No Chance.

Not saying it's cheap but it does look tip top (if you like the colour that is).

Give Andy the owner a call, he's a top guy.

They kind of sell you the whole package at LRUK. To me they seem the sort of place who look after Landys for owners that either can't or don't want to.

They get all their painting done buy Nick Parfitt who owns a paint shop almost next door. He's also a top chap and painted my 90 Epson Green for me for peanut's by today's prices.

And a good job of it he did to spuddog. I thought it was original, and mine is original Epsom Green!

If you built yer own useing japanese components with landy engine tdi it will be better cos you built it and done it right.
If i work it out and its less than 4k you owe me a £5 Spudd dog.

Very friendly, family-run business, can be mobile on price. They also can supply and fit any extras.
When i bought my 90 from them, they gave it a full service, MOT and 12 month warranty thrown in.
So far so good.
Call John there - he's as good as gold.

Ta but a bit to upmarket for my price range

All the defenders are sold (except one) and all they have left is Gaylanders

I bought the bulkhead and screen off ebay - already Epson Green.

Oh and the doors off ebay - already Epson Green.

Yes and those side windows off ebay - already Epson Green.

Did I mention the Spats were off ebay - already Epson Green.

Ok so Nick painted the new rear door i bought, the front wings and the tub - Epson Green, which cost a total of £340 for that.
