Thats got to be discrimination and witholding monies..i'm disgusted a large company thinks it can get away with this in the 21st century. I for one shall not be renewing my policy if this is the case!!

I'm currently out of the office at present however I will be speaking to our service manager this morning to see if we can get this matter resolved.

I hope yu know all the facts and its not just another member not happy with thier quote.. YOU have stolen cash from a member off here, I maybe bias but I would have the same view for every one here, how can you call yourself a FORUM sponsor when you treat landy owners soooo bad.

Their prices aren't even competitive either, for a sponsor that says they're a landy and young driver specialist then offer me about £3000 for fully comp thats ridiculous especially when my renewal was £900.
Even if they had been able to get competitive I'm glad I didn't take out a policy after reading reds thread. This is ridiculous as minty says, you can't just take someones money because you forgot to ask them the right questions and choose to discriminate……the following actions you take with regards to this case could lose you a lot of business, tread softly.

Dr Evil I agree..... with AF bein forum sponsors you would think they would take care of their specialist customers....so we can be proud of them supportin us on LZ... like you say tread carefully cos your reputation could be in tatters.

Well the reps definitely not fully intact at the moment I'll be watching this thread and the other one hoping for a good outcome. Might just go post this on the shooting forum, I know people on there will use AF and they might not like the potential problem of having their money taken for a stupid reason. Might just get a few more people to boycott them in the future and lose renewal customers

I'm sure there's a few peeps I can tell about this too

But you must have given an address when you took out the policy?? and the address refers to the residence not the land it occupies, so did you then a month down the line tell them actually you dont live at the address you gave but in a caravan on the land belonging to the address when they tried to offer house insurance???

If you declared at the time you dont live at the address you were supplying but in a caravan adjacent and they agreed to cover then I think they are well out of order to move the goalposts but Ive never come across any policy that didnt ask my address and if I was a homeowner or tenant??

I dont see how they calculated a premium without your postcode as a residential postcode refers to a property not plot of land? I'd be interested to get more info here as I was looking at living on a houseboat in a secure mooring and often it is the yards main building that has a postcode not each boat...

They got cheap advertising here and access to 87,000 people for pennys. Just a few bit and they make big $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Asked them about insurance when I arrive gave all US details for the both of us and all i got was song and dance and not a straight answer. Even gave them the post code and address as to where we would be living.

Ive had no news off pikey to say owt different than no

UPDATE... just on the phone to pikey, he has had a phone call... AF have agreed to refund nearly 200 quid of the 245 they have taken.
