Im SICK TO DEATH of this bloody car !!! Ive just replaced the compressor the "reservoir pressure static when filling fault" has gone, suspension worked perfectly for quite a while, we callibrated it and it was PERFECT to the mm !!! drove it home NOW front end lookS low, suspension inactive back on, suspension dunt work again, BUT NOW IT HAS NO SUSPENSION CONTROL LIGHTS LIT UP ON DASH CENTRE CONSOLE!!! Im sick to the back teeth of this car an im ready for setting it on FIRE!!! I now believe the compressor did need changing but wat the hell is wrong now??? Cant get back to my mate to plug it in til tomoz so dont know codes yet. One question, during calibration wen you start it sends suspension up to a factory setting, why was there a short blast of air from nsf airbag??? Is there a valve or summat in that corner??? PLEASE HELP BEFORE THE MATCHES COME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!:violent:

Blast of air from NSF airbag means the airbag is split most likely and the leak is what fubarred the compresor.

Yep! sounds like a front air strutt has gone. they're only £400 to buy.
I have seen it a few times, & it usaully happens with a load bang.
You need to replace the EAS relay every year as well, because when they fail it burns the pump out.
You might be lucky in that it is just a sensor failed, but investigations will soon give you the answer.

But why was everything ok for about two hours ??? i test drove it everywhere an it was fine the bag is solid ??? Why are my lights gone on height level indicator and air susp come back on that electrical surely ???

The Lights are off to indicate a Hard Fault situation - agree with Rick - the sudden drop has pushed a sensor out of range causing the Hard Fault....

I had this on a rear sensor after a dunking in deep water....took off, dried out and refitted...all good after clearing fault.

The EAS has two failure modes - hard and soft...

Soft faults cause the Hold Light to come on in the selector switch and the Car will return to standard and remain there as best as it can....

Hard faults are when the EAS stops completly in order to save itself from further damage - this is indicated by all the lights going out on the selector switch...

Soft faults reset themselves (mostly) once you have fixed the issue and it satisfies its self chack but log a code for reference

Hard faults need a diagnostics device to reset before normal operation.

I'll still bet that the airbag has gone pop and that it has been leaking for some time which is what cooked the compressor. NSF always seems to be the first ot go for some reason on the L322.

when you say sensor which sensor ?? im hopin to god its not the airbag im sick of throwin money away at this car i thought they were the lap of luxury expensive cars surely the amount of problems put them in the banger/lemon category ? How do i test/check the airbag ? before it dropped it raised an lowered perfectly the heights were EXACTLY the same (to which i was surprised) it drove round the block great we sat it in the workshop for an hour then it happened soon as i got on my drive ?? one thing i did do wen i pulled up at a shop is i pulled on the curb of a path SURELY this ant caused it has it ??? :(

Extra stress on an already clapped airbag, sure that's enough to finish it.

Should have spent some time on here looking at all the problems. Range Rovers are crap, they are not a car they are a hobby, that is why they are so cheap secondhand. If you want reliable, look at Jap:)

My air bag blew out when calibrating my suspension
As when calibrating it lifts up the car higher than the off road mode which stretches the bag further than its used to
So mine split !!!
Lol
Probably time to change them if there the originals

hippo thats exactly wat happened mate wen calibrating a sudden gush of air flew outta nsf sod it looks like im buyin two new front bags but i swear ill either run this car in ground or its going jury still out on that !!!

You'll have to get it on Diagnostics to find out the cause - we are only gussing it is a height sensor - and we also won't know which one - but if the NSF went - more than likely that one - or the opposing corner...

Diagnostics will tell you, and if it is in Hard Fault- you'll need diagnostics to clear it in anycase.

Replaced all 4 height sensors last week saint v8 so really cant see it been that the post hiipo put about the blast wen he was calibrating is EXACTLY wat happened mate

Doubt it's a sensor Ant, it's logged a hard fault cos it's dropped to the stops:)

Hippo...... LAUGH IT OFF !!!!! Are you havin a laugh lol wen i buy two new airbags for this heap that will be a bloody grand in two weeks ive spent !!! Can think of better things to laugh at guys !!!
