My RR was showing adaptive dynamics fault as soon as starting the Engine. Using an Autel Maxiap200 Identified that the rear left height sensor was faulty and replaced with a new one. Everything was great for a few days driving around town with no faults at all. As soon as I ventured out of town on bypasses, motorways, etc I was getting a suspension fault and max speed 30mph displayed and the suspension would drop right down to the bump stops. This seems to happen every time I take the RR above 40mph. Autel was showing fault code U0421-68 Invalid data received from ride level control module. After a quick Google saw many people were getting this after replacing a ride height sensor and cured with a suspension calibration. For some reason, my Autel would not let me enter into the option to calibrate suspension even though i have seen internet posts and videos of people doing suspension calibrations using the Autel. I found someone local who said he could do the suspension calibration for me and took the car to him. After about 10-15 minutes he informed me that he couldn't do the calibration but looking over his shoulder I noticed him using his tablet messing with settings and opening and closing valves and such. The dash was also displaying "suspension not in customer mode" which I have not seen before. Since he has messed with the RR its now sitting very low on the rear and still has the problem of dropping the suspension to the bump stops above 40mph but the fault code U0421-68 is no longer displayed and now shows C1A13-64 Gallery pressure does not decrease when venting instead. The RR raises to off-road height and drops back to standard height with no issues but displays a suspension fault when trying to go down to access height. I took it to a RR specialist and all he did was read the C1A13-64 fault code and told me i need a new Compressor at a cost of £500.
Sorry for the long-winded post but any help will be greatly appreciated as I am pulling my hair out at this point.

When a height sensor is changed, a full suspension calibration is required, your local has obviously not done the calibration or not done it correctly..

Get the proper diag tool for the job the other guy proper messed it up. If the height sensor initially fixed the issue these suffer from poor/broken connection further down the loom which gives the same fault code as a sensor. Possibly the higher speeds and higher vibrations are causing the fault to occur at said poor wiring.

Hi, @Steverob83 , Funny enough seen some mixed reviews with regards to the AP200 suspension calibration mode

is a great basic reader but different software capabalities from different suppliers , do u remember where u bought urs from and was it white or red plse , also seen some not working with an iPad

here’s a link showing a comparison to urs

Amazon product

hope u get it resolved

hi mate

Plus 1 and have read a few garages setting the suspension too high therefore the obstacle warning comes up on the instrument panel leading it to go into the extended and super extended mode

makes me wonder if some do this on purpose to try and screw money out of the consumers

hiya

remember having untold wiring issues when I first started to look into my suspension, from the front wheel arch connectors all the way to the other ones at the rear chassis

some connectors had been stuck with superglue and others covered with silicone, was a royal mess from all the bodges

Here's a link to the exact one I ordered. My brother has the exact one and his enters the suspension calibration screen when he clicks it on his. When I click it on mine nothing happens and it just returns to the selection screen. Saying that nothing on the service selection screen works so maybe I just have a faulty unit

Seeing the guy messing with settings and opening and closing valves and such after telling me he could not do the suspension calibration, is there anything he could have changed or disabled that is causing an issue? Or will everything have reverted back to default settings after he disconnected from the obd2 connector?

I know the iid tool seems to be the most recommended but is there anything cheaper that will allow me to go in and see everything he was messing with and make sure he didn't mess anything up and also allow me to do a suspension calibration?
Seems too much of a coincidence that I am now getting these new faults after he was messing with everything.

Sadly, I'm sure you are right about trying to screw money out of customers.

The suspension now seems to work perfectly and the only fault code I get now is C1a07-62 Cross articulation. This only seems to come on when driving above 40ish mph. I have included screenshots of the live data from the height sensors etc. Will a height calibration now cure this is is there something more? The readings from the left and right rear seem to be way out.
TIA

Double posts do not win wasn't done for any reason
Wasn't done for any reason other than thinking it would be more appropriate to have its own thread rather than tagging onto this one after it was put here. Not sure what favors you think I might be trying to win......
