Hi all, new to the forum, but got few questions already.
First things first.
1996 300 Tdi Discovery 1, 5 Door, with 2" lift kit *terra firma* shocks n springs.
The problem is the steering, even at 20mph +, seem to be constantly correcting it, pump working fine, in some ways feels too good, small amount of steering makes a lot of movement, but she doesnt like going in straight lines without me fighting to course correct all the time, both left and right. Also, no rear anti roll bar fitted, could this cause problems.
Please help me oh wise n wacky landrover gurus..
:)

sounds like castor angle has been lost but 2" isnt normally enough lift to loose it,the further the front radius arm drops awau from chassis the smaller castor angle is ,but can also be caused by worn input shaft on steering box ,it comprises of an inner and outer shaft the torsion between both when steering wheel turned gives you your assistance they can get flighty if they become loose ,also check ball joints ,bushes and bolts ,swivels etc

Just to update, bought this last week with 3 inch lift, springs n spacers. took spacers out as it was undriveable, nearly crashed twice on way home. Since i got it home n got under her, have had to replace the two rear arms and bushes as the were bent unevenly and un naturally, luckily guy down at Landrover on thornton road had 2 2nd hand ones for sale, and were straight. re bushed them also.
