Greetings,

Going to replace my cv joints, as the splines are very worn, which shows when I turn the prop shaft, and see the splines turning around inside the drive flanges (drives flanges are brand new). I've stuck my chassis number in to microcat, and it gives me two different part numbers, either with 23 or 33 splines. Any idea which one will be correct?

aeu2522 - joint-constant velocity, axle code 20l, axle code 21l, axle code 22l, axle code 23l, 23 spline shaft, less anti-lock braking system - to (V)ka930455

rtc6862 - joint-constant velocity, axle code 20l, axle code 21l, axle code 22l, axle code 23l, 33 spline shaft, less anti-lock braking system - to (V)ka930455

any help appreciated!

just noticed the only other difference in microcat is that the OSI column has a 'Y' for aeu2522, but not for rtc6862. what does it mean though? :)

Craddocks part number search say aeu up to 1990 and rtc 90 onwards with a mention of lhd for some reason?
