Ah, now i am beginning to see the light.

So i can unbolt the pulley, bolt on a simple bit of flat steel bar and yank on my bolt to my hearts content?? :)

Thats bloody brilliant, many thanks yet again.

BTW after taking the pulley off, whats left to bolt to?

the damper - now thats where it starts getting serious - get yoself a timing tool kit with puller - or else yu are looking at serious damage and expense :(. Ask others ;).

Ah i see.

Its ok i have the two pins for timing and now i know the dimensions i can easily make a puller for the damper, i have a workshop with two lathes, two milling machines, mig welding and more in it :)

I just presumed the pulley was integral with the damper hence the ring on the tool.
