For Sale Free - 300/200 tdi crank holding tool

Got a 300/200 tdi crank holding tool - fits into the pulley to tighten the crank nut.

Will fit a 300 tai and 200 tdi disco but not a defender as the pulley is smaller.

Free to a good home home - charity donation optional.

Collection from aberdeen only as work is so busy at the moment.

Will pay postage

Happy for you to arrange a currier but they’d have to be willing to pick up from my doorstep without me being there

I'm in aberdeenshire, I'd be able to collect it, and if mad hat man needs it he can borrow the crank tool and my 300tdi timing tools (cams and pump pins) from me subject to a deposit?

i have the timing tools, just need the locking tool.

Thats totally understandable, he did claim first dibbs on it, but if I get it he'll still be able to borrow it, maybe if he gets it I might be able to borrow it? Either way its all good and bloody decent of you offering this for free.

Do you have the bolts? when I spoke to the guy who makes them he said to keep the bolts safe as they are a certain length.

I dont need it immediately, as I'm in the middle of refitting my workshop rather than doing anything to vehicles, but I have a 300tdi to put in my range rover that I'll want to do all the belts and gaskets on before fitting it, which is why I bought the timing pins for the top end. And my dads got a 300tdi discovery and one of my mates has another 300tdi discovery (which he bought from me as it used to be my wifes daily), both of which I look after.

I'm going to presume you just need it to do your timing belt? If you are not in a desperate hurry for it, I could pick it up hold on to it for a bit to make a copy of it, then send you one of them to keep? Or I could grab this one, send it to you, and you send it up to me when you've done what you need it for? Or, something like that, I'm not trying to steal this from you, and I'd be happy to help, im just trying to find a way where we can both benefit from payydg's generosity

I won’t be doing anything for a month or 2, so if you want to get it, make a copy and send the original down to me, that would be fine

Got it today, was a pleasure to meet payydg, really nice bloke, I'll organise a donation in the next few days, probably start making a copy of the tool in the next couple of weeks.
