200 TDi tickover problem

Well, I'm back for a bit. Noo job taking it's toll, designed and built the Yarksheer Water summer Roadshow (last minute rush job) and in the middle of building the Court Room for the new UK version of Law & Order:London for Fox TV (3 weeks to turn pretty artists pictures into full walnut veneered court room).

Anyhoo, Rangie is up on axle stands minus diffs bearing brakes and various other minor important items, so bin using the Deepender recently. Last week it started doing something a wee bit strange, as soon as the temp gauge gets into the white area, the tickover speed drops about 200rpm, and is on the verge of hunting. New fuel and air filters haven't cured it, so some pointers on possible problems, or how to adjust the tickover on a 200TDi would be nice

Nah, ain't stopped raining here, plus been putting in lots of hours trying to get this TV set built - it's off to Pinewood Studios tomorrow, will be glad to see the back of it and spend some time on vehicles
