Well I knew my 110 had been used as a boat launch in Scotland and yes that's why it was a bit of a bargain but.....

Come to change the springs and shocks and every nut, bolt, screw and thing that needs to move but now won't is rusted to high heaven or snaps off when I show it an undoey thing.

well get those lugs under the bolts... it might loosen them up

Welcome to Land Rover ownership. Before I bought mine my grinder and Dremel gathered dust at the bottom of my toolbox. Now they will at the top!! and mine wasn't a boat launch like yours.
Did my rear dampers last weekend so my heart goes out to you!!

I've gone for the fronts first as i think the rears will be a doddle in comparison.

The grinder is working overtime today. With lots of brew and biscuit breaks.

get yourself a bumper pack of assorted nuts and bolts and washers.

Yep I used an impact gun during my rebuild and was much quicker and easier
