Sorry Nicola but "Vehicle specific" is NOT what forums are about. What goes wrong with a "specific" vehicle today can go wrong with another "specific" vehicle next week! THAT is what these forums are about - collecting ALL specific problems in one place for EVERYONE to generally use.

If Land Rover contributed on these terms it might actually be a good thing!

All for one and one for all but none for one alone...

ere yu are, Nicola - a simple and specific request, that is not vehicle sensitive...

post in the FAQ section a list of all vehicle recalls and bulletins, by car type - an easy way for you to be helpful and not be contentious.

I wont hold my breath.
 
a second, non owner specific request. How does Landrover check "fit for purpose" on Freelander 1 VCU's? Is there a test? how can an owner check before the VCU destroys his drive train.....................

Now lets get this straight on a few different forums i go on i have had good assistance from company support staff,Adrian Flux,BT,Sky
The difference has been this has been support staff not PR i think this may be the difference and the problem here.

So yu is saying she is PR eye candy and of no use to man nor beast? ;)
 
Then again PR would be good they could give out products for forum members to test before sale to the public.
Before ya laugh a gardening forum i use has a deal with Wilko and they did do just that!!

In fairness Landrover have done this which was how I got to test drive a Freelander 2 admittedly it had already gone on sale by then but hey
